Hi, I did this illustration for one of my clients. How much can I charge for it?
I am pretty confused. I don't want to charge him more or very less too. Please help me!

Split it down into your time. How many hours did you work on it? and how much do you charge an hour?

If you give them an invoice set out like that I am sure that they can query it or just agree with it.

If I was your client I'd say $125-175 would be more than reasonable.

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't pay anything until you fixed the guys right arm. What's going on with that? The elbow is sticking way out, unnaturally.
There also looks like an extra thumb on the opposite side of the one on his hand. There are a couple of other unusual features, that I won't go into.

This appears to me like you modified an existing piece of artwork.

Oh, I see skylark... that is his toe, not a thumb. But it is NOT "perfectly logically made". It is entirely unnatural to have the leg in that position.
That part is confusing, and should be redrawn.
And I maintain it may be modified from an existing design. It's not even finished -- all the green has not been colored in.

Four hours work is definitely worth more than $10. Live and learn ... charge more next time!
