Hello guys, I'm in a little bit of trouble. My website is www.speechofpak.com, and i am using webmaster tools. Seriously it is sucking me! When i publish an artilce it usually takes upto 48 hours to appear in Google. When i submit sitemap to google webmaster tool, It takes up to 48 hours to index newly added URLS. Please help me , i have lost my traffic! Is there something wrong with it?
Well, 48 hours time is not bad.. If you want more fast indexing, then you can put a list of pinging sites in your WP dashboard..... when you make a post, it would notify all the ping sites. Creating sitemap on your site would also help in fast indexing.
And submitting that sitemap.xml file to Google via WMT will make things faster also. I use Yoast in WP so it auto-updates my sitemaps.
Your latest article was indexed within 24 hours max. What are going on about?! Losing traffic has nothing to do with slow indexing. Perhaps people did not like your site and this is why they didn't return? As someone else mentioned, even if it was (but it's not) 48 hours, that isn't too bad. High authority, high activity sites get indexed very quickly. Yours is not an authority site. So, stop crying, don't worry about such and get on with your site, focus on making content for humans, content that people want to read.
# first put sitemap in google webmaster tool then build some links because you have only 4 backlinks... Best way to get some backlinks and getting index fast is social bookmarking. do atleast 10 bookmarking for every post in high pr most popular social bookmarking sites. and post your every post to fb page, twiiter and pinterest..........
&eay Yeah i liked the idea of social bookmarking.. I will start from now. I didn't have enought info about backlinks but it seems i am clear now thanks
Well i dunno why it got indexed earlier than before. My latest articles was indexed by google in 4 hours after i published them. That's surprising. Umm yeah once the one come from google he wouldn't care to come back on my site, even its with genuine content. And obviously, if someone gets on my website through google, it definitely means my content is what he/she wants to read most probably. Well thanks for your help
I'm using exactly the same plug in and i am pretty happy with SEO result though i don't know how to perform SEO exactly. Anyway, did you ever face this problem with yoast? I submitted mmy Yoast sitemap to google it indexed slowly but indexed all URLS but URLS of images are still not getting index. Then i had to make another sitemap that works faster than YOAST one.
I can't make much sense of what you're trying to say. Hopefully your articles are better written than your posts here. How can you lose what you don't have if the pages aren't indexed? Once they are indexed, you will gain. Your other pages are still indexed, so you lose nothing. Where do you think your repeat visitors come from? (Clue: it will be something more like a bookmark, type-in traffic or referrals from your social media profiles.)
You can read the articles, they are well written. Sorry i made typos and grammar mistakes . You weren't supposed to point them out. Anyway I got it now thanks for your help. cheers
very interesting reply...I agree with you. I think the pages indexing should be effected by your website structure, your content is unique or not, freshness so crawler will go your site everyday, use some important source code especially for these big website, such as 1,000,000 indexed.
