Start to add site to directories, add to all search engines, buy few cheap links and exchange links with someone.I guaranted you that your stats will high up.

I see it's a blog. Without basic knowledge there not much you can do. On these blogs you can nice find tips for beginers http://www.problogger.net/ http://www.dailyblogtips.com/ And to be honest I don't like the way you write in your blog, it's like I'm visiting wikipedia...

ad placement is ok to get clicks, you could also use link units and google search. the posts are simply copies from where ever, that will not get you much traffic from search engines, maybe you should for each breed mix two sources of content if you're unable to edit in english, like wikipedia and another source. good luck though.
