hello friends, please see my wallpaper site http://www.choosewallpaper.com . i placed adsense but it really gives me a very low money.... till now i got only 4 dollars for 54 clicks. help me out....
Can you put a block into the right hand sidebar. Also, what's your traffic like - is it targeted, general or what? $4 for 54 clicks is low. Did you research the adwords costs etc. before launching this site? How much traffic do you get. Can you place a clickbank product (or similar)on the page. That will make you more than a few lousy adwords clicks. Build up your traffic.
Your placement isn't too bad, though I would generally place it more within the content rather than have it appear as a seperate banner. More importantly you are in the wrong niche for Adsense. People rarely pay for wallpaper/background images as they are so freely available. Therefore the CPC in this niche is likely to be low (haven't reserached this niche just my assumption). Personally - I would find a different niche and do some thorough keyword research before you build your next site. Cheers, John.
First of all, wallpaper is not high paying niche. So you can expect better money that you are getting now. 1. Remove the border to top banner and make it centre aligned. 2. You can add a horizontal banner on left column - that looks empty. 3. Wallpaper website is not a social networking site, so get rid off unnecessary features and concentrate on wallpapers and optimizing the site. Best of luck!
You could place a vertical link ad on the left side. As already mentioned the reason why you're getting less clicks is because the ad is noticeable as a banner itself and not part of the content. Try to integrate it within the wallpapers or on the side as part of the website.
your placement is not bad but I think the keywords on your pages are not high paying. Try adding words such as "earn money online", "laptops" etc so that adsense crawler reads them and you get high paying ads on page
I m posting snapshot of my site. I would like to know from experts that whether the link unit placement is valid? or it is against the adsense program policy. Also i want to know if i place same link unit above top banner image ad below navigation bar with suitable margin, will it result in violation of program policy?
