Guy I want help for adsense ad placement on my webpage.. www.magicaldentistry.com/what-is-tooth-decay-cavities-in-teeth/ I have placed one horizontal banner below dropdown menu bar which is looking very odd but when I choose other positions then CTR is very very low.. another ad unit in sidebar and one in starting of post.. two link units, one below menu bar and one at end of post. . so please advice changes to increase ctr.. I think I have worst ad placement.
That horizontal won't work that well. Better use text ads in rectangle format just before the post and one after the post. Size should be 300*xxx or 336*xxx
the way you have it now should be fine. I suppose you've changed it. After for ctr, it will depend on how targeted your traffic will be.
. I removed two adbrite units since page was full of ads.. I will change that 480X60 ad unit to verticle type as said by digital_shubi.. . Currently I am using mobile so can't do it for two days. . I want suggestion about that 728X90 horizontal banner. Should I remove it?
Your current placement is fairly good, but keep in mind that according to Adsense terms you aren't allowed to sell those two adslots on the right side.
Those are banners and I have seen many reputed websites selling banners and have adsenset ads. I will remove it as I don't want to take any risk. Thanks.
The 720*90 banner is not good in my oppinion you should use an image banner not text in that location. The rest is good!
