Been using a netbook for most of my work over the past 3 years and it just doesn't do it for me anymore (that's what she said). I need a bigger screen and all-in-one desktops seem like the perfect solution for my needs as I'd like to save desk space and be free from clutter. I can't decide between the three all-in-one desktops below. Would greatly appreciate it if anyone could point me in the best direction from here. If you want to go with a all in one this is what i am on now. Might be worth looking into as well as i have had no issues so far and has been great. HP TouchSmart 520-1050 Desktop PC Product Specifications http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c03014580
Specs look good indeed but it doesn't seem to be available in Australia and it goes over my budget of $1,000 or under. Either way, thanks for your input buddy.
No problem, Didnt know your location or budget but good luck. I have noticed that the HP all in ones are great though as i have two of them right here the other is a HP Envy 20 not sure if this is in your location. The price is lower and works great. Those all-in-ones not cheap. Maybe computers are more expensive in Australia? I have never liked the idea of an all-in-one because if one thing goes bad, the whole thing is useless. I have a tower on the floor and I am using a 32-inch 1080p HD TV (HDMI) for a monitor. $500 for the computer, $200 for the monitor/TV plus $20 for the HDMI cable (plus sales tax). I love having the big monitor. Everything is so crisp and clear. Plus I have a TV, too. The first all-in-one on your list is only a dual core CPU. These days, and if you are doing web development or programming, you should go with the quad core CPU and at least 8 GB of RAM. Dell has an Australia website. Maybe you could check that out. My computer and my prior were Dells and they worked great.
