Just have bought a domain from dynadot.com. Just have send payment. Now what I need to do? I am asking this that really I am new on this process. I know that I need to host this domain. Also I have hard about control panel. Is there any control panel for domain name. Am I going with right way? Please suggest me. Thanks.
If you ordered Hosting from them then they probably need to set up your Control Panel for you and that may take some time if it's not automatic. To get to your cPanel once it's set up go to: Yourdomain.com:2082 (if you have a .net or any other extension replace it with .com). Good luck.
The spelling and grammar thats used on this forum is getting worse by the day! Also the advise given is going downhill Op, You have purchased a domain name without hosting. You need to point your domain "nameservers" to your hosting ie NS1.blabla.com and NS2.blabla.com. Sounds like you do not own any hosting
I made the mistake and brought a website where the domain name was with dynadot. I am telling you they are crap, its the last time i buy anysite domain thats with them. Honestly, forget about the domain name, and buy a different one with namecheap.com. If you really really really want to keep that name, then well PM me, i CAN setup temp hosting for you, and ill play with dynadot and walk you through it, and once we do that i can recommend some good quality hosts.
Yeah, I really would prefer a different host. Very cheap isn't so very good. Find a more popular and well used one. Those are the most reliable ones.
Relax. You only need to buy hosting space with a suitable provider, get nameserver information from them and add it to the domain registration records YOURSELF. In your place, I would avoid giving anyone access to the domain control panel at the place you registered your domain name.
- After registered at dynadot, you automatically have 'domain control panel' - to start making a website you need 'hosting'. for beginning, you can try free hosting (example: 50webs.com) - then you need to change the nameserver (ns) of your domain to be pointed to your hosting (in this example, the nameserver is: dns1.50webs.com and dns2.50webs.com). Changing nameserver could be done via 'domain control panel'. - after changing the nameserver, you need to wait a day or two <- ns propagation delay - then.... you can start make 'index.html' at your hosting It is not difficult, just do it! p.s. I am not 50webs person. I use 50webs.com as example coz that the only free hosting I have tried
