    Hi!

My friend has an account registered at PowWeb along with the hosting and Im buying the domain along with the site from him.

I want him to push the domain name from powweb to my godaddy account.
And would like to change the nameserver to my host(HawkHost)
    Is it possible ?

If not, Can i register at PowWeb without having to buy the hosting. Just an account to have the domain transfered to my account.

Or is there any other possible ways for transferring the domain?

    Thanks

you would have to pay a transfer fee to godaddy since its a different domain registrar, how ever you can search on powweb and see about getting a free account to push it to like godaddy does and save yourself a little extra money. otherwise it will be listed http:// help. godaddy. com /article /1592(can't post links yet) for the transferring of domains. personally i would stay away from godaddy from the threads i read about godaddy and how they take domains or let people get them stolen.

Tried searching at PowWeb. It does not offer free account. It offers account that too along with hosting, for which i need to pay for both domain and hosting.

Is it reliable paying godaddy to transfer from PowWeb ?

i personally wouldn't but its your choice on who you go with, but i would go with luckyregister .com, i currently have 5-6domains already there and have no problems and the nameservers update within in like minutes to 30mins depending on your connection and where you are but it is great, reliable and most of all cheaper on .com's, .net's, but its your choice.
