    This has been driving me nuts for about 5 hours now... just not funny anymore!!

    Heres the page:

    http://fontmedia.com.au/bio_humus/index.html

    You can see between the header and the navbar is a white space which I dont want there (well not that thick anyway!).

    I've messed about with margins paddings borders etc to 0 but still no joy!!

    It may well be that it looks different on other people systems to mine... so I'll give you a screen shot of mine!

    Mozilla:

    IE8:

    IE7 (this is how I want it!)

    Something actually seems to be pushing down the div rather than just creating a space, because the text actually stays in the same place?? IE7 is spot on - text in the middle of the nav bar and only a small space.

    I'll be working on the actual navigation next so dont worry about telling me how bad that is... I already know - its just been copied from another of my sites for now. Just need to get this space sorted first!

    Please help and save me from myself!!!

    What happens when you change, topnav margin to 0?

    Oh my god!! You've flamin fixed it in one foul swoop!! I think I must have been going margin blind!! haha

    Its left me with something else to sort out with the navigation but thats all good!

    Thanks so so much - very much appreciated!

    its your margin-top:10px on your #topnav thats causing the problem now on your #navigation try adding padding-top:10px; and reduce the height:35px; to height:25px;
