So I'm the owner of this website, and I wish to put up 125x125 standard blog ads on it. The only problem is, I have no idea what to charge for it. The website has a pagerank of 5 and gets an average of 5000 absolute unique views per month. What do you think? I appreciate any comments.
Nice Blog. Depending on how many ads you put up, you may have to worry about that PR. Try using a javascript for the ad rotations to limit that somewhat. But, you also don't want to alienate your visitors, so don't go crazy. If you put up only one ad and it remains static on your homepage, then you should expect to get about 30/mo for the traffic you list. If you were to put in a text link, you could get the same again. And, you could probably get away with 1 or two more ads if you charge 20 each for all 3. Maybe 10-15% more for everything, but I wouldn't expect more than about 100/mo total. Just my opinions, but these are what I would expect to get on similar sites that I've owned and operated. Best wishes.
