Hi, sorry for the crossposting in different forums, I didn't much help... I'm a newbie to databases, but is there any (hopefully free) easy to install script /tool on my website so people can enter their phone numbers, emails, and name and it just goes into a list automatically...I expect a few hundred people so I don't want to builda list manually... Any links or free script programs? I don't even know what language script to look for in Google. Cheers!
Take a look at hotscripts.com under "email list" may be. Ask your host which scriptting language your host supports. There must be some good solutions in php, asp, and cgi... What you want is not difficult to make either... Bye
phplist is very simple to setup and has loads of options if you are using it to send out newsletters.
if you cant find it on there go to techtuts.com they have a good tutorial for a user sign up basically and puts it all into a database for you. Very clear instructions
