I will try playing with AdSense for a few weeks and if it doesn't work I will try applying for some CPM network. What do you think about that?

I'd make the ones at the top blend in a little more, and maybe put some amongst the pics.

You have a very big problem with the site. The good news is, it is easy to solve. You do not have a Unique Value Proposition. You have not made it clear WHAT you want people to do, and WHY they should do it. All of that information is BURIED in the About Us page, which most people do not click on. It is too easy to just click on the images, enjoy them and move on. Why not? You have a great sales talk about why people should use your site (on the About Us page), all you have to do is make it visible on the homepage within the first few seconds they arrive. Then they will start getting involved. Getting involved in your site is NOT THEIR PROBLEM. It is YOUR problem. Make it easy for them.

Are you looking at your pages? It also counts if you look at your pages. Try not to look at them and see - that should help your numbers to not look so outrageous.

I am no expert, but the ads should blend in.

500 page views is extremely small, in the big numbers game that's called "The Internet" 500 page views is absolutely nothing. Being a new site, you shouldn't even worry ablut page views at the moment, what you should care and focus on is unique visitors.

Drive up the visitors count, by promoting your website so that you have at least some 50 visitors per day, that will be 1500 per month. Still absolutely nothing in the big numbers game, but it's a start. 500 page views could be ONE visitor, visiting 500 pages after each other and then you'd have your 500 page views.

Also, Google is very bad at understanding images, so writing some text near the images to describe them will make it easier for Google to understand what they are all about and send ads geared towards that.

Sounds that there is something wrong on your content. Try to provide some good and unique content for your site. Or it is also possible that your ads was placed in a section of your site where visitors can't notice that easily.

Well I am not sure how you count the PAGEVIEW as I have seen your website in the bottom you have something that shows the page view which that is not unique IP page view, means like if one visitor refresh it 1000 times it show you that you have 1000 pages view.. so that is not accurate use google analytics which show you unique visitors in that way you will get clear picture about your real visitors. hope it helps :D

Yes, I know these are not unique visitors but...I had a blog with less visitors and I earned around $1 my first day...I think that the problem is ads content...I have to change it! AdSense displays some stupid advertisements about stock photography! I think I would have much higher CTR if AdSense displayed ads about making money or free games or something like that...
