I am new here please help me I Make a mobile sms jokes website only for earning throw adsense. we update site daily 3 to 4 members. it is text jokes & some pics, but language is English + Roman English for regional people of India Pak & Bangladesh. so i got PR 2 in first three months & after 5 month of age of site it is now PR1 now i m working on backlinks. Problem is this the earning throw adsense is very low. Page Impressions: 32742. Clicks 463. Page ctr 1.41%. Page ecpm $0.45 Total Earning is: $ 17.36 in 5 Month. it is very low? my ad placement is not good? or any other problem? please review my site for adsense placement & guide me how i can improve my earning. Your ad placement is way down the bottom of the right hand side. What I can suggest is that you put a 336 x 280 rectangular inside the content right after the first paragraph and right after the first content. Just make sure you got only 3 ad units and put an ad link on the right side. Hope this helps, JulieV

Thanks for reply Julie. i understand your tip. the 336x280 ad i m using b4 content now i put it after the post. what about 468x60 ad it is also after the content check is it ok now? on single post?
There are couple of reasons for this low income. 1) Ad placement. Make sure your Ads are in good location, inside the content and/or close to the navigation. 2) Your content doesn't attract lots of advertisers and most of the advertisers in this niche are from developing countries so they don't pay much for a click. You can see the advertisers using Adsense Preview tool. 3) Your traffic is primarily from developing countries and as per my experience, a click from these countries doesn't bring you much money. You can work on the factor #1 but for the factors 2,3..you can't do much.
1) Your ads are not targeted. When I looked they were about dating. 2) You need to have one post per page - having snippets or multiple posts just confuses the bot 3) Your traffic needs to be targeted visitors 4) I agree about the comments on developing countries. Dean

do some SEO on your website, you need to increase visitors too. you might as well do some advertising for your website.
