Hi... I just bought a domain (not hosting) from netfirms. Netfirms has built in wordpress installation facility. When I click install wordpress it gives error. I want to ask if I can install wordpress on my domain without hosting??
Where the files will host ? Domain name is just a name with a extension . nothing else. You need hosting ofcourse.
why you do not try to buy blog domain, blog domain is facility to costumers who want to have their own domain on their free blog, example blogspot, wordpress or facebook page.
from where you bought the domain?? i think there are some service providers who give hosting free with domain to setup basic things like a personal website or domain. just confirm it from your service provider what and all was included in the price you paid...
There are domain name providers who do provide basic free hosting but to make things simple and plain. Domain name is just the Name Plate you have on a house, you still need a land to build the main house structure. Likewise, you are going to need hosting to go live with whatever website framework you wish to use.
