I like it and I really like the shade of blue! Not fancy, but who care's ... sometimes simple is better. I saw it on your blog and it fits perfectly!
i think the first one is better, but I personally think the font could be better. That font looks quie plain.
There is no change except font size and stone position. You can make better and for that i can help you for free. Just PM me. Regrads SAM
I would say to try less outline and less shadow. I always think shadows these days look old. if you're going with a shadow spread it a bit more so it's not so distinguised. just my 2 cents
Ok... here are some suggestions: 1. Use the one without the glare effect... 2. Use two different colors for the text, "Sean" and ".com" one color, and "Bluestone" another color... DO NOT USE WHITE for the text... use something a bit more interesting, maybe a red?? red and blue go well together.. make the Blue stand out by making it brighter than the red... try using pastel shades instead of just common shades of blue and red... if you know what I mean.. 3. Make "Bluestone" bold... or just the word "blue" bold, if blue and stone are two separate words, the capitalize the "S" in "stone"... 4. Place the motto in the bottom, do not put mottos or phrases on top of the logo.... 5. Take off the shadow please... 6. Make a copy of the whole logo and edit/tranform/reflect it vertically to make it seem as a reflection of the whole logo, and the drop the opacity, make it transparent... That would be a nice effect... 7. Otherwise, you can find some designer to fix it for you for a few bucks... hehe... CR
Here is a Free logo... well... if you want it, if you like it... it is free.. I just wanted to help =)... Let me know if you want it... FREE... you can use it.... I just would like to see if you can give me a "review" or something about the design and that's it =D he!.. and is yours... CR
I think It's pretty good but what you need is to get rid off the borders, drop shadow, bevel & emboss . Try to use the princible "K.I.S.S" meaning " Keep It Simple S.." . All Profissional logo designers use this concept - At least I do - . In your case, I would use a plain text with a very subtle gradient the quick concept I made below :- I hope that was helpfull
Try making the background darker for the second one and possible try not to have all that much white bleeding onto the crystal as it makes it look slightly dull. If I'm not mistaken you would like a shiny effect?
That is a long word for your brand domain. About my opinion, how about you let the Bluestone as one word combine together, then focus the symbolic style of Sean words. Will post to you the sample of mine within 15 minutes here.
