Submitting to a ton of directories has become a complete waste of time, They don't pass any link popularity and they drive zero traffic.

Google's SEO Guidelines has actually removed their suggestion of submitting to directories

There are a few directories that would help, but can be difficult to get listed in, as they are human edited and therefore your sites must be high quality.

    They are...

    http://www.dmoz.org/

    http://www.google.com/dirhp

    http://dir.yahoo.com/

Other than these 3, don't waste your time and money

if your trying to get your pr up then this will not help you. The only directories that google actually say to use is yahoo. IF all you want is to just get back links, then you can either hire someone or just buy a software. I sell one if you would like to buy one.

    Hope this helps

If you are dead set on submitting to directories, grab the list from http://info.vilesilencer.com/. It's a good jumping off point. Keep in mind the comments above. Dir submission offers minimal if any real value to your SEO efforts. Also use iMacros to speed up your submission.
