Please give honest opinion about new domain...

I just registered a new domain:

    a1AffiliateMarketing.com

Please give me your honest opinion on what
    you think...

I plan on setting up a blog and submitting articles
to it on a reg basis..I know its not going to be
a money maker off the bat, as I am more concerned
in getting traffic, then maybe later putting up some
affiliate marketing links, product reviews, etc...

any affiliate marketing pros out there that
    have some good advice?

    Thank-You

in my opinion it is good for search engines as the keywords are good enough, but if the person would be a daily user, the name is toooo long and people normally forget the a1 in front.rest all is fine i think...

yes, the name is a little long. I figure as long as it can rank well then that really will not matter, as most will just click anyway...if they find interest on the blog they will take the time to bookmark, and if they can not remember
a1affiliatemarketing.com then i guess it is for the best. all the best names are taken of course, and you have to settle for whats left i suppose.

I setup a blog, and its been up for a week, and already I noticed a couple comments on the blog about how good the content was, and it is not on some little bitty domain either, so i think if the content is decent, then it should all work out fine in the end.

If i did not have such a headance right now, I would get started on it now. I would
bet within a short period of time, spiders will be on it, then comments...it would help
to have some advice from some pro's on making it a successful blog though..I only
    can do so much myself.

I am trying to set it up as we speak...I am having trouble for some reason..I have never had much trouble setting up a basic wp blog before...I know it is not as straight forward as something like affiliatemarketing.com but I think
A1affiliatemarketing.com has at least some ring-tone to it :)

it sure would be sweet if it took off, I do need better luck in affiliate marketing...
I love it, but never been much good at it, and lost a lot of $$ along the way...

It may be quite long, but it's easy to remember, and that's key. I'm surprised it wasn't already registered. It's a good buy.

I sure see some crazy domains that have no meaning at all...

come visit my moon shine website at arjhonki.com

it sure has more meaning then some of those other crap domains
that dont even make sense and they expect people to visit...

right now the domain name is no longer an issue, I just have
to think what i can put on it to get traffic and such, that is
    more important at this point...

It's a good enough name. If you think of another, you can always register it too, forward the new to your site and see which works better.

Try and get yourself a nice free wordpress theme. Just google around for one, they're easy to install and customize.

yes, everything starts off on default once setup, does not look special now.. I do have a design on another blog that I will use on this one also...so hopefully in a few days the design will be flowing, and users will be posting. I have some articles myself that i can start off with.

you guys might want to keep your eye on it...
it will look better, i promise :)

Feel free to link back, i have no complaints...

It's a perfectly sound domain name, I've seen many successful sites with even longer names
