Have spent years working on a website to sell light bulbs to those who are looking for them online. The biggest obstacle in creating the website has been getting all of the products together (over 5,000 products), each product comes in different quantities, has a different weight, dimension, and needs to be described based on brand, wattage, voltage, kelvins, hours, color rendering index, and category. Than comes organizing the site and making sure to have photos for every single item that is missing a picture as it would be very hard to sell an item like a light bulb without any pictures of it. Lastly the final nightmare which we are fixing up this weekend is the shipping part. We have to create a specific algorithm for shipping of multiple items that all go into different size boxes and to different locations across the country. None the less it has finally come time to launch this website this month and we are stoked so without further adieu if you could give us your feedback and thoughts on what you would like to see improved and changed on the site it would be much appreciated. check out the site here
what do you mean about adding products on social media? Automating a tweet of every product or bookmarking each page?
Cool site, cheap prices compared with the local offline stores in my area, I have added it to my favorites and will use it in the future; However when I tried to search by Watts I got an Error 404: NOT FOUND! At the link: h*t*t*p*s://w*w*w.1lightbulbs.c*o*m/category/41/Incandescent/1/ At: 30/70/100 (1) Which is h*t*t*ps://w*w*w.1lightbulbs.c*o*m/category/41/Incandescent/1/wattage/30%2F70%2F100/ I suggest you add a search dropdown menu that sorts the products by watts which is the most important search string for the common buyer of these sort of products.Good luck! P.S. Awesome concept (I wish I had thought of it first)
