This is a new website I'm building, https://www.germanglish.org/index.php I'm wanting to know specifically how you like the background image in the header. The logo will go in the header on the left hand side. I don't have the logo yet; that's something I am working on right now. If you're wondering what the photo is of, it's a famous landmark in Berlin. It's the dome atop what amounts to Germany's congress. I thought it had kind of a tower of babel vibe to it, which also fits in with the fact that my site is about language learning.
Good website. Keep logo simple as possible. The logo represent the website. For background image in my opinion leave it blank No need to have it because it increases load time, but it depends all on you. Remove this index.php
Thank you for the reply! Is it possible to remove the index.php? I'm using Xenforo, and as far as I understand it is necessary. As far as load time goes, it's screaming fast for me (located in OK, USA). What is your location and what kind of load time are you experiencing?
I research it and here is the information I think you get all your solutions xenforo.com/help/friendly-urls/ I am from Pilani, Rajasthan, India. Page speed is Good; Dont worry; Mobile - 78/100 Desktop - 82/100 Check using developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights
K, I think I got it. There's also an option to remove thread titles from urls, thereby shortening them. Is that good for SEO?
Create in this manner like if Introduction threat then go with - /Introduction Suppose in the introduction threat there are lots of posts then dont go with /Introduction/post1 /Introduction/post2 ... Simply Go with /Post1 /post2 Look DPF URLS...
Apparently using friendly urls breaks my site. It works on the homepage but everything else comes back with a 404 error.
You have to do hard work, but it is very simple. It is good you can contact to the Host xenforo. There is xenforo community also; from where you can discover all your answers regarding seo friendly URL.
Is it Looks complicated You should avoid post lots of content Your Site First Page looks should Beautiful layouts and normal content?
At this point I'm just trying stuff to see what's possible. I haven't really decided what to do with the homepage yet. I was just curious if I could put widgets over a photo background. I'm thinking maybe my homepage will be kind of a summary of everything new, that way when people visit they can kind of get an update on everything that's happened while they were away.
- You should add social media links. - The background takes a while to load, perhaps try optimizing the JPG. - The snow looks cheap, I'd take it off IMHO. Other than that very good.
