Directories give scripts? what do you mean, are you referring to reciprocal links?

Are you looking for Directories that only list Forums?
So as to build Your NEW forums back-links?

If so here is a Directory Forum List

I think he might be asking after he signs up with directories, where does he put the reciprocal link on his site since it is a forum and not a regular website.

    For the answer though...I don't know :)

    Trying to solve the riddle.

Basically dont use directories that want a reciprocal link back to them, just choose the ones with free options first.

As Malcolm said, theres directories just for forums for you too.

Exactly... They already know the game and know how to get backlinks

Dont waste your time with directories that demand a reciprocal backlink...

    thx

    Hi,

I took a short look into SMF (short, because I am not sure I like SMF but my pal has this script so... whatever)

If you are after a quick solution, you can try this.

    1. Locate index.template.php inside your Themes/default folder
    2. Open it in Notepad++ or other txt editor capable of showing line numbers
    3. find the line #191
    4. after </tr> tag insert:

    <TR><TD><a href="links.html">Links and resources</a></TD><TD>&nbsp;</TD></TR>
    Code (markup):
    5. Create a custom file links.html and dump all the recips into it.

But as other guys said, you better don't go for dirs that ask for recips.
    Good luck.
