Could somone please explain to me the rules of the weight system? I have 2 websites... unde 2 separate accounts to test a few things with the co-op. Can ANYONE explain to me why a PR4 site with DOUBLE the pages and the SAME amount of backlinks has nearly 500 less in weight than a PR2 site??? The PRS 2 site has a weight of 2462 and the PR 4 site has a weight of 2044? As I have explained the PR4 has twice as many pages and the same amount of backlinks according to the digital point tools. I must admit this whole co-op scenario is becoming more and more of a mystery to me. I have read over the history of the co-op and situations similar to this and have to say, with well over 5 years experience with web design and programming, not much of the co-op at present is making sense. Is anyone able to enlighten me on why this stats are this way? I think the co-op is a brilliant idea and believe that it could really benefit alot of website owners out there.... but the whole thing at present seems to be very higglety pigglety.
Is that 'your' count of pages on 'Google's count of pages, do a site:http:\\... on both domains and also check using the Google API. You can use the keyword tracker tool on this very site
Backlinks dont' have anything to do with weight, so that part is irrelevant. How many pages does each one have, using the API? Also, are you running the same number of ads on each page for each site?
According to the Digital Point back link tracker site one has 15 backlinks, Page Rank 4, 91 Pages in URL, Weight 2044 site two has 18 backlinks, Page Rank 2, 35 Pages in URL, Weight 2462 There are five adds running on each site. It just doesn't make sense.
Can no one tell me how this works? I have since checked the weights and site one has gone down even further to 1929 while the other has gone up??? Does anyone have any ideas?
