You need to put the code from their links on your site, to refer business to their advertisers. Once that has been done and the tracking is properly setup through account (making sure you add your websites for tracking + channeling), you will start to gain revenue.

i think nytrokiss you haven't quite understood the whole process at CJ.

Commision Junction is an affiliate network that allows merchants (people selling products) to open an affiliate program through CJ. Since a lot of users have signed up with CJ, becoming a CJ merchant can help you promote your business to a great extent.

Publishers (or users who have websites and who are looking to promote some affiliate products on their site to earn commission) can get these affiliate links directly from their CJ account. They can get links to products and banners from CJ and add them to their websites.

So if you have an online business (like selling cosmetics) you can sign up as a merchant and start promoting your products. Publishers will send a request to join your affiliate program, and then post your links on their websites to increase sale of your products. They will send traffic to your site, and people will buy things from you. You will, in return, pay commision to the referring publisher who send you the user.

    Hope this helps :)

As long as you offer a good enough commission rate to the publishers, or some sort of a performance incentive, you will get more publishers signing with your affiliate program.

The number of publishers sign up will also depend on the product you are trying to sell, and also, if some other well established sites or merchants are selling that product or not.

If many other sites are also selling the same product, with a good enough commission, chances are that few people will signup with you. Some of the well established merchants, like cooking.com have more than 10,000 products to sell.

So it all depends the number of products you are trying to sell, their quality and also the competition.
