First....I am fairly new to DP and I am NOT about to complain.

Can someone just explain exactly what hijacking a thread means.....? Yes, I did receive an infraction for it.....NO, I am not complaining about it.

I just want to know exactly what it means so I do not do it again. Because the thread that I posted seemed like it was OK, I was just replying to someone else in the thread so just not sure exactly why it happened.

Again....I respect this forum and its rules...just want a clarification.

    Thank you very much,

    Ray

Thread hijacking - Off topic posts or trying to promote your own item/service in a thread started by someone else are both examples of thread hijacking.

Maybe you have done any one from above 2 possible reason.

Maybe someone had started a topic and you posted something that had nothing to do what the op of that thread asked.
