Someone told me I could make for money using linkbaiting rather than content article writing.

Can some one explain to me what the difference is and what exactly is linkbaiting and how I can accomplish it.

Thanks a lot for not flaming. I am trying really hard to make the money to save our home. I am doing the best I can. Need a mentor or a guide through this maze that is IM.

    thanks

Link baiting is an important factor in link building. it's about creating your website and it's content so that others want to link to your site or content. It can be a great article, free resource or any lottery etc. Just anything to develop temptation for others to link back to you.

Linkbait is a technique that builds links, traffic and authority through the compilation of various resources on a single blog post or web page.

Try using an article that has affiliate links, which allow you to earn commissions for a specific program. However, you will need to ensure that the article is well-written and has great content because you’re going to be putting it up against a large number of excellent posts that are terribly attractive. read

You can also use sites like Digg, del.icio.us and reddit. Also you should look into social sites like facebook and myspace. You need to produce content that is interesting and catchy enough to catch the attention of the visitors. Have a browse of these sites and see what others have done before you jump in.

    Good luck with your site.

I wrote some free software available for download on my site. Once word gets out a lot of people link back to the download page. That's an example of link bait.
