Hello I have a site www.sayeconomy.com and one of my friends said that this site is wortk 5k +, few of them agreed but I am not really sure what are the values of those bigger sites. Site gets from 250-400 UV per day (90-95 % from search engines) - 250 on weekends and 400 on week day - by google analytics It earns in avarage of 1.5 $ per day in adsense I manage to sell 100-200 $ worth of articles and links per month with only few hours of work so around 140-250 is income per month. Site has around 23.000 incoming links and 1000 + indexed pages. Most of the content is unique but not all. Currently PR 3 but should come to PR 5 in next update. Please review. Hi, IMO, value-wise, your site could potentially worth that much, even more. However, the reality is, value often has nothing to do with how much will you receive when you sell it. Ideally, selling price for your site's type would be 10-20 times monthly revenue - Which means around $1400 to $5000. If you could push the traffic to somewhere above 1000+ visits/day with lots of organic SE traffic (a.k.a. popular) and minimum bounce rate, as well as < 100,000 in alexa, you could very well sell the site for $5000 - $7500 considering the same monthly income. Some buyers are valuing traffic (and SERP) more than pagerank and backlink count. Just my 2 cents...

I'd say a rough rule of thumb is a business (or website) is worth 2-3 times its yearly revenue. So if you make around $3000 per year or so then a rough value would be $9k or so. Of course everything is only worth what someone will pay.
great site but try to promote and get more ranking as well as get more monetization possibilities so you cna earn even more.

whi do you want to sell this site.? His potential is huge, and you possible to win more than that in time.
I think it needs more traffic, then it would be worth a lot. As other people have stated, traffic is important, but so is the earnings and such. You shouldn't sell it. Keep playing with it and developing it and sell it later when it will be worth a lot more!
i dont believe with such value on website i prefer to say that your website has potential huge traffic to come
With the economy the way it is, I'm only seeing sites selling for 1 year revenue. Unless your unique and have a following that is growing every month.
Your blog is just few months old...how did you managed to get PR3 and so many back links in such a small time. Please guide and this website is actually worth 5K+
Rule of thumb for an automated site or business, yes. Too often someone has a business (which is more of a job if you have to work full-time at it) making $50k/year (average wage here), and they think its worth 2-3 years of revenue. LOL. Who'd spend $150k buying a job? Go take some resumes around and get $50k a year for a few days work. Automated (or any work is able to be outsourced cheap) + potential = key. Well it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it... which doesn't necessarily mean it is worth that much - or that it isn't worth more.
