I think when google changes its page rank next time you should get at least PR2.
Also you have lots of outbound links on your homepage.

There's no way you can estimate your pagerank. Google's algorithm keeps on changing. Just keep on building quality links for your blog.

 

Traffic comes partly from PR and revenue comes from traffic, so what you just said don't make sense.

Id try get in the DMOZ if iI were you, and if you really want your PR higher, try go for high PR links back to yours. you dont need that many, you just need them to be hgh PR

The PR has no relevance to actual serps....

 

You have backlinks from forums and a PR0 site, usually google ignores forum links and PR0 backlink does not help much, try to get backlinks from related sites, just do not focus to much on forums, post articles use social networks etc., do not get obsessed with PageRank is not much of value, rankings are not set by PR mainly, there are other factors. - Those that think PR will bring them traffic.
- Those that want to sell their site to the former.

You are totally right. Advertising is the best way to success as well as gaining PR to your site. I can make a lot of web with high PR but will that increase SERP as well as revenue? Well 40% Yes & 60% No. Still you need to do more advertising (thats the main point)

There is a lots of things you do with high pr website.. Paid backlinks is one of them. See this get you some $$ there. But if you focus more on ads type revenue then high PR doesnt really improve your traffic that much.

Why would people think PR brings them traffic if it wasn't true?
Why would anyone want to buy backlink on a high pr site if it was pointless?
Why would the PR system even exist if it didn't do a damn change...
you just don't make sense.
