Hey! I am basic in my understanding of online blogging. I want to get some tips on how to instantaneously make my website better. I am looking for some practical info that I could apply as soon as possible. So please take a look and tell me what I could improve and what could be changed.

Lose the background image that so obviosly repeats itself and distracts from the content. You have illegible colour contrasts on your menu and lose the goofy illegible webfont while you are at it. You declared all your font sizes in pixels making it an accessibility disaster, *** only knows what those three bizzare grey blobs are supposed to be next to the heading text. Likewise your content text being monospace is hard to follow and again, mixed with the fixed metric sends users diving for the zoom only to be confronted by the layout falling apart.

You also have SO much whitespace on the page one cannot help but imitate the little old lady from the 1980's Wendy's commerical: "Where's the Beef?"

I don't know what the blazes type of broken animooted scripttardery you have going on with the social media links, but cut it out!

Of course, it's built in Blogger so I'm not even going to waste time going through what's wrong with the code for it.

Just, read this, 95% of it applies:

So I want to flat out get rid of blogger. What would you suggest to make it a seamless transition?

I don't like blogs, hardly ever read them. What I want to point out is if you enter your site into the browser without www. it goes to an error page. I believe you can fix that in your webhosting settings.
