Hello Everyone I was wondering if you could Critique my blog. Does the theme look professional or should i do a re design. What parts of the blog are useful and what parts are not? Is there to many advertisements? My Off the Fence Blog any comments will be appreciated
well I'm just going on complete impulse here, i.e. Went to the blog and this is what I saw (from a users PoV) 1. The fence background is TOO strong, feels like I'm wanting to know what's behind it 2. The overall FRONT layout seems a bit over the place - the design isn't the problem, just the positions of your blocks 3. Don't see any real messages, nothing that's jumping up at me etc, apart from the TV which doesn't tell me anything (nice though, if used properly) 4. Maybe need to make it stretch for high res, most likely due to you're a design company, have to allow compatibility everywhere and from a users PoV, I want to be inspired All I got for now, let me take a professional/technical PoV next time for you. Well i think you visited my site and not my blog - i am in the middle of a re-design of the main site.
My first reaction to this website: "Man, this looks bland." The background does seem to be the most attractive thing on your website, which is bad. I also like a color scheme, and you should use brown and pale green or another similar color. The "the" in the logo looks like "bhe"... Offtopic: On your website, the background is (let me become British for a moment) "horrid" and your template way to simple. I mean really man, if you want me to buy something from you, you need to impress me! be more bold with your designs! Make something original!
