Please critique my blog theme.

I made my first blog theme and I was wondering what you all think of it. I know its not perfect, but its my first one. Any idea on how I can make it better before I start writing content? Im stuck.

As you can see its supposed to read like a newspaper. I will be using this as a blog database of all my ezine articles.

Articles? Who need those? If you make it look pretty you dont need content.

If you make the width flexible rather than fixed, it'll be much better.

 

I think it's awesome! I would make the comments link black, instead of blue!

 

It's nice, but doesn't render very well in 800x600 (horizontal scrollbar)

 

Okay thanks guys/girls. I forgot to think of the 8x6 viewers when I made it. I'll fix the flexibility and change the blue comments link to a black one. Then I can start putting some articles on there.

 

I think it would look a lot better if the background was just white, it currently doesn't match the rest of the page.

 

Thanks I was thinking the same. I still want to keep the outline so it looks like a newspaper though.

Yeah I think Im going to use a different theme for the time being because the news theme isnt really going to suit my content I realized. I can always use it for something in the future.
