Please critique my adsense placement, colors, size...

Whats That Bug? (www.whatsthatbug.com) is an bug identification site. We are getting close to 900K page views a month, but our revenue has been slowing down, as the CTR is less than 2%.

I would very much appreciate some feedback as to how I can improve this.

Thanks, but that's a very vague and not particularly helpful recommendation.

 

I would try a large banner (728) above the fold and blend your ads better - for example, your 336 block should have the same color text as your content IMO. I believe the text is too large on that ad block as well so I would go one size smaller to blend with your content text.

 

I would agree with phinfan a little there, text banners and link units that fit in with colors/style of the site at top and sides.

 

Thank you, phinfan. I updated the colors to match the site better. I'll let that run for a week before I change anything else. I appreciate the input. Do you think it looks better now?

Yes, that looks better but I would have kept the title color the same as you had it previously #34425B.
