Please criticly review my site

    Hello,

    i have a site that i started but lost interest in. I'm looking to start the project up again but need to now what needs to be fixed before i start to advertise.

    Let me know what you think of the design, layout and feel of the site.

    I would really value all comments good and bad, (good give me hope in the project and bad help me fix the issues)

    Also if you come across any bugs in the script please let me know, I know they are there but they never seem to happen when I use the site lol

    Is this some kind of game website? I am not much into playing online games, so maybe it looks a bit confusing to me what this website is about. But a point to be noted that there might be many users like myself who might not understand the purpose of the website, unless something clearly lists out the purpose of the website on the homepage.

    Also I guess gamers do prefer black color, but there are many folks who do not like to be in dark websites. You need to be careful and good understanding of the customer likings before you select the back background. Not saying its necessarily a wrong thing, but it depends on the customer base liking on an average.

    The website name is great!! Its impressive.

    From the structure perspective of the website, I feel it looks good and professional.

    So that was my two cents..

    Thanks, that's a thought i didn't think about when you mentioned some people won't know what the site is. I will try to add something in without spoiling the simple layout of the sites homepage.

    More suggestions welcome

    Im hosted with apthost.com Im currently only on a shared hosting account though as site gets low traffic only about 20uv a day, haven't done any promoting or SEO yet.

    If the server is slow now with only 20uv's a day you might want to upgrade sooner before you start promoting it. One thing with online gaming is the SPEED of the action and if it lags people leave and never come back.

    The design is cool, it is very godfather-ish of course.

    Seo methods should be used, maybe writing articles or anything related to the godfather and online text based games to drive more traffic and onpage seo methods need tweaking.

    What hosting would be best for this type of game? I am hoping to find and sort a few major bugs before promoting. There is a bug where users can get loads of money and points, but I have no idea how they can and so where to even look lol
