Very different layout, it looks very good in my opinion

 

I would be better if all the pages had the same look. You seem to have 2 different headers depending on the page. I would keep the design consistent.

 

Great idea. Layout design is simple, easy to understand and direct to the point.. that's good. Just make sure it's fast enough once people started using it ..

I'm not too sure about the header problem you see River, the template is broken down into 3 different sections, so the header remains the same throughout the site.
