Rules Please clear my doubts

For a few days I will be going to my relative's place to stay, he does not have internet connection and I will be accessing DP from Internet cafe. Most of the Internet Cafes in my place used shared IP and (suppose) some one may have already signed up or may be using DP from that shared IP. So if I access Digital Point from that IP (Internet Cafe) Will I be banned for duplicate account. I am asking this because I have read a lot about DP's strict policies on duplicate accounts. And seriously I really need to access DP since all of my online trade is directly dependent on Digital Point. I will be in my relative's place for at least a month or so I cannot quit accessing DP for a month. Please clear my doubts

This is frequently asked and it's usually not a problem. You should PM a mod so they can leave a user note on your profile.

As long as you don't participate in any suspicous activities (such as trading rep, itrader etc) you should be fine.

Thanks guys for the information. Ok right now, I am at my friend's place and I am accessing DP from Internet Cafe. I forgot to ask a important question. If suppose there has been any banned account under the particular shared Ip address through which I am accessing then will I be banned? Since I have heard that there is ome kind of script which checks for duplicate accounts from the same IP?

And also what do you mean by sharing itrader, trading reps? I mean If suppose I do some kind of buying and selling with a person will I not be able to leave an itrader for that person? Please reply me back...

 

Don't do anything where we will suspect that you're acting in connection with another account. If you're doing something fishy, we'll catch it and ban you. If your business is legitimate, then you have nothing to worry about.
