Hi, I started this site back in Decamber 2004, I would like some suggestions as to what to place on the homepage- http://www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk/ At the moment I have a picture of my friends dog on there, but feel like changing it. There are 400+ pages but it is just the homepage that needs changing In my opinion. Any suggestions on monetizing the site are also welcome, I might be selling tools on there at some point in the future. Any good web promotion tips/ marketing tips are also welcome. You website has a wealth of practical tips and information. That is very good. I would think you need to change a lot more than just the picture on the front page though, which could remain anyhow. You need to come up with a site-wide template, and better navigation links. Your adsense integration could be much better. You have the content in which to do that. And all the potential to build a successful marketing strategy. Start with a compact, site wide design theme offering navigational link on the sidebar or in the form of a drop-down menu. Far as promotion is concerned, at this stage you could try a couple of relevant content link exchanges with other websites, or buying text link ads on sites with relevant content.
