Hello,I want to show ,how I am doing my keyword research,so as to understand that Am I going the correct way,so that I start writing articles on them . Suppose Forex is the niche I am promoting,So I have done research with keyword "Automated Forex Software" in google keyword tool. There I cam across the keyword "professional forex trading" which has approx 800 searches per month. And competition is 18,800 in quotes in google. So I consider this as good and potential keyword as targeting this,So Do i have to use the keyword as it as,I mean how to make it long tail,If i add extra words to this keyword will it become a diffrent keyword . And while submitting article to ezine,in the section where we have to insert keyords,do we have to also use the same keyword which we have use in the title. Thanks
Yes this seems as a good potential keyword for targeting, it depends on the competition but you should use the keyword the way it is now, if you will add extra words it WILL become a different keyword.
if you add an extra word it doesnt matter! say you want to use the keyword "flying ducks" and say there are 300 searches a month. If you add the word "brown flying ducks" you will still be targeting flying ducks as well as brown flying ducks.
yes, this is how you would do it, start by seeing how many searches a month that keyword is getting and then use it in your article, especially in the title (which matters A LOT) in google searches. Remember that meta tags nowadays don't matter much at all since they've been abused in the past, so search engines discount their value or just ignore them altogether. If you want to use keywords, they have to actually be in your article (or URL), not just in some abstract "tag" or category.
"professional forex trading" remove the quotes most people dont search like that theres over 2million without the quotes
Ok so if I add different words to my search keyword then it would bcome different keyword ,so will it reduce it value, please clarify. And also how shall I look out for my competition ,with quotes or without quotes, since the serach results vary widely.
