    He Jeba,

Thats really a good domain which you have choosen, can be used for a hosting company in India (as thats what .in represents?) and keyword rich domain name too Linux and Servers.

The domain name should go around high $xx to mid $xxx, also wait for other response to get a clear appraisal. The keyword in the domain is really worth it, but .in extension has to get popular yet.

    Cheers,
    Dreamchaser

like dreamcatcher said,,,i also think this is a very cool name...linux servers...

if you ar thinking of selling it...my best suggestion would be for you to advertise the domain name in our local tech mgazines like, Digit, Chip, PCmag...etc....

    anyway..all the best..for that wonderful domain... :)

i thought abt this...why dont u email these magazines...and ask for a general appraisal...just say to them that you have this domain name and because of their industry knowledge, do they have any idea on how much this domain name may cost in the market....etc...etc...

dont make them an offer..just ask them what ur domain name is worth....

lets see how they will respond...maybe one of them maybe interested themselves...

will think of more ways on how to promote ur domain name...

edit: by the way ..where r u from in bangalore...PM me..mayb v can be friends...

Jeba, I am sure not many Indian Hosting companies would be interested because of the general Indian mentality which I know of.

But the domain sure is fine. Worth low $xxx, try selling it on Sedo or something

it all depends on the what type of community one is going to target...thats what i believe...If I am going to target only the Indian section of Linux users, having .in domain name will have more value. Ofcourse, .com may have already been taken so CoolJeba may have gone for .in..

thats y, i asked him to contact only Indian internet users and not the whole of the lot...cos ...a company from US is not likely to buy the .in for developing his business in US...

this also gives a good idea to me...<running off to register other important TLD's for my domain name, so that I can offer them to the respective country people   >>

    just my views....:)
