Hi, this is only a domain name - not a developed site yet although am planning to. Know nothing about .tv domain names - if tehy have any value, have never owned one. Any ideas what it would be worth if I were to sell it without developing it?

    thanks in advance...

The "-" and the ccTLD kills its value. I'd say low $xx undeveloped.

    Thank you

I disagree. A lot of people don't like hyphens and they do materially affect the price of a domain. However, there is considerable evidence to show they do not lose all their value.
In terms of the .tv it is still a reasonably ok selling tld. There are a lot worse out there. website-design.org sold in 2009 for $500 and web-design.org about 4 years ago for over $1100 (maybe $1250 in today's prices). I think .org is a better and more adaptable extention than .tv and there is evidence to suggest it is worth 2-3 times a .tv. Based on that I would say you have yourself a $400 domain! If you aren't going to develop it, why not put it on auction with a reserve of $200 and see what it gets!

Oh yea sure. Based on what you said, I own uNet.info and uNet.com sold for $100,000, that means uNet.info worth $30,000? lol

I think that the relationship between .com and .info is different from that between .org and .tv, as I think it is easier to monetise a .tv than a .info and clearly .com is way better than .org however I respect that everybody is entitled to their opinion.

I do not think a valuation of $200-400 for this domain is ridiculous, I really don't, but if you feel it is worth $xx that is absolutely fine, I respect your valuation. If it was for sale for $xx I would almost certainly buy it.
