Hello. Yesterday I registered yet another domain, so I would like some appraisals for my four new dot coms. Let's go. 1. First, we have YetAnotherDir.com. The name says it all. It's going to be a web directory, nothing more- nothing less. I believe it's a bit catchy, and easily rememberable. Undeveloped, I say it values at about mid XX. Developed, maybe mid to high XXX? 2. Second is TheFreebieBook.com. I registered this with the intension to sell an e-book on how to make money online (something down to earth and possible, not like "make $ 1,000 in a week"). Later, however, I saw that the name (freebie book) is irrelevant to the site. So, either I will find something different to put in there, or I will sell the domain. Undeveloped, low XXX in my opinion. 3. Third comes Cadoot.com. Branded domain. Catchy, easy to remember and short. I'm intended to start a website for local people to place ads about stuff they want to buy/sell with it. Only for electronics and computer related stuff however, not in general. High XX undeveloped? 4. The last one is AthensMassTransit.com. Not a good domain I believe. Low XX, maybe even registration's price. It's going to be a blog about the mass transit system in Athens and Greece in general. Targeted at a very specialized audience, rail fans, transit analysts, experts, enthusiasts, etc. ------------ I tried to value myself these domains, while I have absolutely no experience in domain appraisals. I would like to hear your opinions about them.
I'll do it based on not developed 1.YetAnotherDir.com - Mid XX not that speical 2. TheFreebieBook.com - Mid xx to high xx based on what they would use it for 3. Cadoot.com - Low xx to mid xx 4. AthensMassTransit.com - Very low xx, not going to be useful for most because of the topic this is my own opinion
Thanks powell. In fact, I don't mind much about 1, 3 and 4, as they're going to be developed- not sold. Sad to hear that about TheFreebieBook.com. It's a nice domain. Why it values so little? Because of the "the" at the beginning, or of its' length?
TheFreebieBook.com is worth about mid-xx to high-xx, i agree on that with powell but the rest are reg fee
