Greetings, I registered ifididit.com on a whim last year intending to develop it into a parody site. Time constraints have prevented me from developing it and I am considering selling. Even though Fox dropped the TV special and book, the book rights are going to be auctioned off on April 17th. My thinking is that offering the name for sale before April 17th might create more interest as there will be more potential buyers. I'm guessing that the book rights will sell for a couple hundred thousand but I could be wrong. My thoughts are that this book will be published and distributed via the web primarily since many bookstores will be loathe to display it. My feeling is that the domain should be worth low to mid US $x,xxx or just a fraction of what the book rights will sell for, and I'm wondering what your thoughts might be for both a pre book rights auction valuation and a post book rights auction valuation. Any other comments are welcome.
