    What do you think this domain is worth ?

    It's relatively short & pronouncable

    Meaning :
    'to dig, scratch, scrape ' in german (Second-person plural present of graben.)
    and kinda is a typo for "grabbed" with same definition ;)

    Many others, if not all, grab[x] are taken and have no real meaning to me...

    Would like to use it for some kind of search engine site...

    It will value more with a proper development, for instance, like you suggested, as a search engine or even a (good) directory. The name by itself has no big value, in my opinion.
