Couldn't agree more. I'd say English has been enriched because of all the thousands of loan words it has. But anyway, if you're worried about loan words, I hereby demand that you immediately cease the use of these Spanish words of Arabic origin: álgebra, café, cero, azúcar, naranja, hehén, talco, sofá, alacrán, algodón, baño If you want more I can look them up. These were a few I remember off the top of my head from my undergraduate work. The moral of the story is if you try to be a language purist, you'll stifle the language like the French academy is trying to do (and not succeeding). But if you accept normal change/growth the language will be enriched. (Acutually the moral of the story is don't try to sell sub-domains hehe)
