I have the following domain name that I would like you all to appraise for me. According to Google Traffic Stats...it show that 1,220,000 people per month in the United States alone type in this exact keyword phrase. I think this domain would make a great Job Search/Job Listings website.forum,or something alongs those lines. Please appraise for me- DoThisWork.com
You have to look at the exact search. I made that mistake in my early days of SEO. I saw big broad searches and thought I saw a goldmine. For example, probably around 2 million people are looking for "jobs in ny" (broad search). However, they are searching for small phrases containing the words jobs, ny, in, new york, new york city, nyc On the other hand a huge exact search exists for "job search". One spot on the front page for "job search" could get thousands of visitors monthly. A domain like JobSearch.net would have a huge advantage. In fact, any domain (like JobSearch.biz) would give you a huge advantage in ranking for "job search". Despite the fact, only .com, .net and .org (sometimes .info) has any big selling value.
thank you center2 for your reply and i totally agree with you! I'm actually looking to sell this domain now.
It might be worth something to the right buyer if developed, but in my opinion I would say not worth more then the reg fee.
