with 30,000 members. 1500 active members. 300,000 posts.

    Monthly uniques: 150,000 aproximately.

What would be a suitable price for selling such a forum?

it would rather depend on topic of the forum and scope of the subject. you can specify the topic then i would be able to give you some estimated valuations.

Yea I agree. What subject is your forum actually on. That's the only way to appraise it. And also what's the forums domain?

I can't give out the url or niche here, if I say what niche it's in it will be very easy to find as it's the #1 site in it's niche. It's not a commercial niche as such and the current highest bid on adwords for it's keywords is near about 20 cents. It's more of a hobbyist niche. The site has great rankings and gets most of it's new visitors from google and msn but performs terribly in yahoo.

Revenue is $350 to $400/mo from adsense.

I was hoping this could sell for more than $30,000. Forums have a growth factor (and registered member details, unique content, free new content) to account for so the usual 12 month site revenue rule can't be used.

    Any thoughts?
