Ok. Heres the deal. I know that thread bumping is against the rules of DP. But how about posting a duplicate thread. By duplicate thread I dont mean just copying and pasting it. I mean that can you post a thread for the same thing in the buy sell or trade section the next day.

So if i made a thread and didnt get much interest, could i then do the same thread the next day to try and get more people to see it.

I think you can do that if your post cannot be edit anymore and if you changed your idea.

i dont mean a duplicate thread, i mean, say I was trying to sell my sig links in a thread, and nobody bought it

I cant bump the thread to get people to see it again, but can I create a new similar one (not duplicate) to try adn sell it again the next day?

I think that's called bumping a post/thread. and it's not allowed. Start a new thread, ask to have the old one closed?

ariagrey, if you must insist on posting to get your post count up, at least understand the question first.
Your answer made apsolutely no sense if you read the question first

its simple, even a chimp would understand.
    no bumping threads.
no duplicate threads. reword it all you want, if its for the same deal already posted in another thread, its a duplicate.

better to request the old thread be closed, then start another.

and the mods don't always lock threads even though you ask.
