I have two website with one targeted keyword, webs are based obn different host and have no link between each other. Targeted keywords had position Google 12 and Google 18
I decided to promote it and bought some links ( good quality)
In 10 days position was Google 9 and Google 12
However, 5 days later the keyword was dropped in both website and has been dropped in 3 days by now.
What should I do. Should I wait or remove paiable links
I know about dancing well, but the dancing touch only keyword which I put paiable links.
All opinion will be highly appreciated:)

If you think that it is all due to paid links then make sure that you remove them. G do not like payable links and if your site is found using this activity then make sure that your site can even be banned.

If it doesn't bounce back in a week or two then I would definitely drop the paid links and submit a request for reconsideration.

I'm guessing you bought these through some link broker like Text Link Ads. When you're buying links through a broker, it's best to worry as much or MORE about the quality of the broker than it is to worry about the quality of the site where the link will be placed.

If you buy links through a broker, I highly suggest buying links from them ONLY if you cannot see the list of sites where you can get links online. In otherwords, the only way the broker should communicate the URLs of the sites selling links to a client interested in buying them is via a spreadsheet or a phone call. These types of brokers typically approach YOU, and don't accept clients who approach THEM.

If you can go to the broker's site, signup for a username/password, log in, and view their inventory - URLs/sites where you can buy links... then that is a VERY VERY BIG RED FLAG! Do NOT buy links from such brokers. If you can do that then so can a Googler. Bad idea.

If you are going to buy links from a broker then that broker should ONLY deal with their customers buying links directly. Unfortunately, these types of brokers tend to be more exclusive catering to big clients like Citbank, Verizon, AT&T, etc. since they have to have a team of sales people to deal w/ clients directly instead of just a web site where peeps can buy links.

As a small business owner, the best way to buy links is to approach sites from whom you'd like to buy a link directly. You avoid paying the overhead for the broker fee AND it's not likely that such links will every be discovered as paid. Tell the other web site owner exactly where you want the link and how to make it look natural.

By the way paid links is the not advisable for me. Google doesnt prioritize paid links. Google prioritize the consistent links.

Example if you submit 10 to the different directories then next day you must do that again.

Google doesn't like paid links, but if they go undetected , like a anchor set for a word in the content of the page not a link thrown in a "Featured" section or "Sponsors" or whatever , you wont have problems.

It's a big big discussion about Google and it's "no paid links, but ours" politics.

Thank you for replies. I never buy links from brokers. Magic, that drop only one keyword, fortunately not whole website.

Don't buy them . BUILD them . Even very good backlinks can come from free sources , if you know how of course .

you can get backlinks from doing some popular social bookmarking networks such as digg.com, delicious.com,reddit.com... submit two posts per day, its not painful job, you will see good result for long term

Social bookmarking also works , you're right. Like in every other method you have to take your time and focus on keywords you are going to use in the anchor , description and in some places even tags. The biggest mistake when you are trying to rank a website is doing things in a rush and expecting results very fast. In fact that's not a big mistake, it's a FATAL one.
