    Dear DP,

I have recently bought my first PLR ebook and it comes with 3 pages of htm (a sales page, thank you and download page).

I have been playing around with it for awhile and slightly stumped...I have used blogger and wordpress but this is something I have never done before.

If I used a content management system like joomla, is that pretty easy to just add these 3 pages and the images and then away I go?

    TO go into detail:

I uploaded the 3 htm docs to my server into the cgi bin (is this right? there was only two options and the other was images) and then I have added the images in but currently the site looks like this:

    holdemhustler.info

Some help would be deeply appreciated...If all I need to do is instal joomla and then its pretty easy to instal these 3 htm files and images, let me know and I will do that...

or if I have done a small thing wrong and dont need a content managment system that would be better. I dont intend to edit it and already have everything I need in the htm files so maybe its pointless?

Joomla is total overkill for a 3 page website.

cgi bin is only for scripts. .htm pages are not scripts. Put the .htm pages in the main (root) folder. The sales page should be the first page that the person comes to. At most webhosts, that file should be named index.htm or index.html. You should confirm with your webhost what the default file name should be for folders on their server. The other two pages should be accessible after the sale/action has been made.

If this stuff seems complicated, DO NOT attempt to set up a CMS. Buy a good basic HTML book and get up to speed on how files / folders on web servers work first.
