Can some please advise me about the benefits and uses of private registration. I want my personal details to be secured as much as possible.

Any help is appreciated before hand.

If you want your personal information hidden, use private domain name registration. I'm not sure what other information you are looking for.

Your contact information will be hidden if you use privacy registration.

You can also get privacy registration from GoDaddy for free if you buy 3 or more domain names.

I use it private registration on most of my major domains. Very cool to have, helps fight some spam as well (both mail and email.

When i first started. I thought private registration would keep my identy safer and no spam. So alot of my early domains were Private Reg. But as time as passed, i think public registration is better as it makes it easier to sell the domain. my 2c.
