Hi everyone, I have been told that using flash in my website will increase its functionality and usage. And I am thinking of giving it a try. Can anyone tell me about a good source from where I can buy flash templates? Thanks Joe

It will also limit your ability to gain a respectable PR on Google, and frustrate users with slow connections. You should reconsider using Flash ... especially for your entire template ... Sometimes Flash has it's benefits when used sparingly. This is a heavy topic of debate ... Do your research and make your decision off of what you find. And just to let you know ... Normally, designers in 3rd world countries don't care about or understand what you REALLY need ... They may seem very appealing with their prices, but you will ultimately end up paying more in the long run to have their mistakes fixed. Trust me, I make 6-figures a year fixing their junk code.
Thats just simply not true. I couldn't agree more with the above poster. I for one hate it when a site completly uses flash, and will rarely stick around at a site that uses it. Also, not everybody even has the flash plug in installed so your site may display nohing to those users.
Flash makes sites looks, well, Flashy, and does not help for SEO and such. Maybe it would benefit you more if you simply included Flash elements such as an animated logo. Hello Joe I must say you have been advised correctly. Well-designed Flash web site templates have the necessary elements to grab the attention of the visitors and make them explore your site further. And adding some audio track to the animated graphics will add volumes to your site’s appeal. In fact, the biggest advantage with flash is that it makes difficult concepts look easy.
