Offcourse its worth, they are one of the earliest players in the directory business. and you might want to submit to Yahoo or Best of the Web as well because a listing there really means alot:)

I'd rather donate my money to a more charitable cause than to the 'botw take my money' fund.

I didn't knew that BOTW is of no good reputation in the eyes of Directory Guru's here:D lolz

By the way, i know a friend who purchased a link in BOTW on a PR 5 subpage for 199$ and guess what, few days later the page was transferred as a part of a subcategory which was PR 3. So BOTW can be useless at times tooo;)

    I'll second that motion!

Furthermore I've heard that the review fee is just that a REVIEW fee. They don't accept competing directories so if you submit you're outta luck. I"ve heard it's possible to put another site up but that isn't the one you wanted to pay for. So your stuck unless you have some time on your hands and file a chargeback.

Yahoo is good but don't think you'll get alot of traffic from it or atleast I don't. It's best for PR etc IMO. 9.9 out of 10 people just go to a search engine these days. Myself included.:D

though they have been online for years they still only offer as much as the next guy does and nothing more in my view.
If they were like DMOZ or Yahoo or maybe even Business.com then maybe that would tell a different story ;)
If you review my sites and try and keep my money without refund or my link then they have got bad issues and problems
    waiting ahead of them.

    thx

Their site is listed in both DMOZ and Yahoo but they want their own description written at search engines not DMOZ or Yahoo description. Those tags are meant for it. ;)
