I submitted an article about my experiences with online gambling to Tech Central Station a couple of weeks ago. I'd forgotten that I sent it and then got an email this evening from the editor's PA asking me to send them my payment details. I didn't even know they were going to publish! The $250 for the article will come in very handy for a new iRiver or something equally fun and pointless, but the best thing is the surprise after giving up an article as useless. It's always nice to be reminded that I can actually write words that people want to read So, look out for a scorching expose of the gambling industry tomorrow morning at www.tcsdaily.com. Or a mildly interesting, anecdote filled pile of pap. I'm not sure which.
Cheers! It'd be one for the scrapbook, but since it's all about gambling problems I don't think I'd feel too comfortable bringing it out for my gran to see Still, she's a tough old bird. I'm sure she could take it
Keith, do you have a list of other article sites that pay well for good articles? There is a DP member that writes great articles and she could use the money. You can see some of the work she has started recently at http://artful-articles.blogspot.com Thanks for any help. Col
